Lancôme USA has earned a Guinness World Record — and the title “Most people matched with foundation in 8 hours.”

The company set the record earlier this month at the High Line at 10 Hudson Yards in New York City — just outside of L’Oreal’s headquarters.

To earn the title, a team of ten makeup artists worked to match 1,327 individuals with the correct foundation shade, in eight hours.

Which product did they use? Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation, which comes in 40 shades.

Participants received a 10-day sample of their perfect match, and the chance to win a grand prize worth up to $500 of Lancôme products.
